“Audism Unveiled”
followed by
Lecture and Performance

Audism is basically a new word coined in 1975 that is used to describe forms of
discrimination and oppression deaf people go through on the idea that people
have related
to the notion that “to hear (and talk) is better and more desirable.”

Proceeds will benefit the
New England Homes for the Deaf
